TAKE CARE OF IMMIGRANTS

WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME

Take Care of Homes core value is in its belief that individuals and/or groups of people can play a pivotal role in curbing societies economic and educational inequalities. With our Los Angeles based program, we are delighted to add that core value to the improvement of Ethiopian immigrants.

The mission of our local program is to provide necessary information to new Ethiopian-Americans to make their assimilation into American culture and work environment a little easier.

We have setup an information center in the city of Inglewood where we collaborate with likeminded individuals and organizations to help new immigrants navigate life in their adopted country.  This will in turn help them succeed in their workplace and communities.  We have volunteers who will translate English to Amharic (the national language of Ethiopia) as well as help fill out necessary documents and applications.  Our goal is to make sure immigrants are taking advantage of all the necessary resources available to them.  Information is key to success.
